COMPETITIONS
Teams perform in competitions each year, which provides opportunities for our students to put on their costumes and present their items. These are generally held from July onwards and culminating in the prestigious Royal South Street Competitions held in Ballarat in late October.

Competitions are a great celebration of the teams work and is an exciting and proud day for students, families and coaches. There is nothing more rewarding to see each students development unfold on stage, and to share in the exhilaration of knowing they have all done their best.

CONCERTS
At the end of each year, Sovereign comes together to perform as a club, at the beautiful Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat. This performance is a fitting way to finish off our year and celebrate as an entire club.

EVENTS
Sovereign presents a large and varied number of events throughout the year. This includes team camps, Open Classes, Discos, Solo Concert, Team presentation nights, and various social events. Sovereign also encourage students and families to participate in community service activities.

CAMPS
Our older students enjoy an annual camp in Ballarat, where they participate in team bonding and rehearsal times.
The focus on our Camps is to foster the relationships between the students.
This is a highlight of the year and the students enjoy the many and varied activities from the large indoor pool, dress up theme nights, team games and learning more dances.
